Melanie Gerleve'
started creating her statues during her pre-school years. She
has never stopped producing her unforgettable work. In 1970 she
teamed up with Max, and together they discovered that there was
little else in life that mattered to them other than creating
the works of art that they, to this day create in great proliferation.
The pursuit of perfection and dedication are among some of the
many driving influences that are reflected in the meticulously
detailed and high caliber work that Melanie produces. Melanie
is listed in the 2000 publication of Who's Who in America for
her contribution to to arts in the sculptural form.
In addition to her award winning statues, Melanie has also
written several children's books and a fictional novel.
